Open small TBG forum on site?

We may have to.

At this point, we need a small outlet for simple text based games to promote activity and balance views-per-post usage. This will be a small forum, mostly serving the growing (slowly) population of non-Text-Based-Games-Forums users on the site, and those who visit daily but can't find or create good content on/for the site.

This will likely attract new users to the site and tremendously help feature games, such as Assassins 2.0 or HHII, take off. (Assassins 2.0, in particular, relies on users posting frequently in many different places.) The feature games themselves would attract new users, and so on, helping these forums gain stability throughout.

If sportsdude wishes, he may immediately become moderator over this forum, with opportunity for promotion following general activity increases.

Should a small text based games outlet be added on these forums?

Okay. Voting will end Saturday at 7:24.17 AM, and you will be graduated if/after the forum is made.

Ok.
On the whole site, or just that section?

Just that section so far. It'd be faster than waiting for a general activity boost, and you'll get a promotion offer if this happens while you're mod on the TBG forum.

Re: Open small TBG forum on site?

Yes. But maybe only for "complicated" games like A2.0, so we don't get a billion "count to X [before Y] [by doing Z]" threads.
(What's HHII?)

Re: Open small TBG forum on site?

Well, no. A2.0 would stay in its own forum, and share a category with the new TBG forum. The new forum would theoretically house some post-if games, as that would help attract greater amounts of attention from new users. There ideally would, alongside those, be a variety of more elaborate word games and setup games that require more attention (but anything like A2.0 would still be a feature game).

There would likely be restrictions on some post-if games.

Oh, feature game = Game with own forum (like Haunted house), and the smaller games would go into the main forum.
That's a good idea.
