Re: Can you sing?

I really like to sing, except if you knew me in person you wouldn't pick that up at all. I'm very self-conscious about it in person, but my online persona is pretty different.

Re: Can you sing?

It's... complicated. I used to be able to sing (and do all kinds of cool voice tricks), but now my voice has dropped, like, a LOT, and I can't really reach into the normal high range anymore without cracking. I'm sure with proper training I could figure it out but like.... nah. I guess that's the price I pay for never getting voice cracks while it was happening though.

Re: Can you sing?

My brother takes voice lessons, and he says he's learned a lot. I think it's a good idea for anyone here wanting to improve. Also, join a school chorus or something. Or Karaoke.

@GT specifically: My brother used to sing tenor, but he's learned that he's more of a baritone, and singing that high was really hurting his voice. If your voice dropped, it's probably best if you sing in your comfortable range. tongue

Oh yeah! I learned that during fine arts.

Probably should have chosen Chorus...
